First of all I’d just like to say a big ‘THANK YOU!’ to all who tuned into my first show ‘Pure Poetry’ on Nubia House Radio yesterday!
I really had fun even though I made a few mistakes (inevitably!) but I had some really good feedback and even Minty (the station owner) said he was impressed!
Next week I’ll be interviewing Griot Chinyere Nwaubani, organiser of the Sesa Wo Suban Afrikan Family Storytelling Festival taking place on Saturday 22nd June 2013. I’m really happy to be taking part in this festival, as I have used the Sesa Wo Suban Adinkra Symbol in my Self-help novel – as it’s a symbol of Transformation.
Griot Chinyere will be doing some storytelling to give you a feel of what to expect on the night (Yes, it will be from 9pm-6am!)
Emma Ako from Carpe Diem will also be joining me to tell us about her event ‘Poetry Meets Art’ which aims to help increase awareness of the minerals conflict in the Congo.
Don’t miss it!
If you haven’t downloaded all 13 poems (mp3’s) from my compilation ‘Seeds of Love’, they are still FREE to download (get them while they’re free as they will soon be for sale in iTunes!) – and feel free to ‘like‘, share and Become a Fan! 🙂
I did offer their accompanying Book of Lyrics FREE to my listeners yesterday, but I’m putting the link here, as today is the LAST DAY that it’s FREE to download!
P.S. If you download it and you injoy reading it, please go back and leave a Customer Review on Amazon, that would be much appreciated!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
