Today is Black Woman Heal Day!

Today is officially Black Woman Heal Day, founded by Lilada Gee in 2015.  The aim is to organise events, write blogs, and create forums where sisters can get information, share stories, and empower each other.

I would have liked to organise an event this year, but I’m attending the Woman to Woman Conference today, so I’ve decided to write a blog instead, with the aim of organizing an event next year…

Why The Black Woman MUST Heal:

The Black Womban is the Original Woman, the ‘Mother of All Nations’.

It has been scientifically proven that the oldest human remains is of a Black Womban.

She carries the original gene: Mitochondria DNA.  Men do not carry this gene, it can only be transferred from mother to child, which is where I believe the word inHERitance comes from! (I’ve covered the topic of MDNA in Year 8 of my Self-help novel ‘Journey of a Sister’)

There is a secret war against the Black Womban; to prevent her from ‘re-membering’ who she is, to degrade her image (and that of her male counterpart) in order to destroy her family, and ultimately her whole commUNITY.

The Black Womban is the core of her community; in order to heal our community, the Black Womban MUST heal – for the sake of the next generation!

The Black Womban, being the Mother of All Nations, is pow-HER-full!  But we have forgotten our power.  Many of us have issues to do with our womb, relating to the foods we eat, the products we put on our skin and hair, and the toxic men we sleep with.  In order to heal, we must return to nature!  In order to heal our relationships, we must begin by healing ourselves, starting with Self Love!

Self Love A3 Poem

Ways we can heal:

  • Get in touch with our True Self, by spending time alone, sitting in the Silence, meditating, praying, taking notes.
  • Read (and implement) Self-help books, audios and videos that help us return to our natural state of being.
  • Get into nature at least twice a week
  • Use natural skin and hair care products (these sink into your bloodstream!)
  • Grow natural! (There’s a section in my novel which will help you innerstand why this is important)
  • Exercise your mind and body daily
  • Eat foods provided by Mother Nature
  • Learn about the power of your yoni and womb (covered in Year 8 of ‘Journey of a Sister’)

In a society which has turned everything upside down, where the truth is now a lie, and a lie is now the truth, it doesn’t take much to realize why the Black Woman and her male counterpart is under such attack.  Yet WE have the power to turn everything the right way around again!  We are POW-HER-FULL!

The source of our power is in our EMOTIONS and our INTUITION.  Yet if we continue operating in our masculine energy instead of our feminine energy, we will never be able to tap into our full pow-HER.  We will never take our rightful position on this planet , next to our Black Man, reigning side by side.

As melanin-rich people, we are naturally spiritual, and naturally sexual.

Religion has played a big part in separating sex from spirituality, but in this time we MUST heal, and put the two back together again.  I have gone into much more detail about this in my novel, preview Year One FREE! (click on link to open)
