I decided to revise it to take into consideration some of the comments made at the Book Launch of the First Edition – the front cover design was inspired by something one of the brothers (who’s now happily married) said: “The ring is the smallest handcuff ever created by the white man” – if you’re wondering how I did the chain joining the rings, it was from this:

I also wanted to re-write my ‘her-story’ to explain the real reason why I never married despite having the engagement ring on twice!

The beautiful thing about this book is that I seem to have attracted like-minded men to offer their advice, so in every instance they are backing up what my own inner guidance was saying!

The book goes much deeper than ‘getting the ring on’; it looks at our past history which has affected the way we relate to each other today, and offers SOLUTIONS on how we can heal ourselves and progress to health, happy, fulfilling sustainable relationships – but it starts with healing ourselves individually.

Once we have identify our personal issues and healed from them, this book offers a PLAN to getting the ring on by introducing the ‘DIY Arranged Marriage’. This involves doing the ‘6 Month Test’, and climbing the Ladder to Dating Success. If you follow all the steps given, you are almost guaranteed to get the ring on! (If that’s your desire).
