Last weekend, I posted an ad about my book ‘Single, Spiritual…AND Sexual!’ in a group on Facebook called ‘100,000,000 Christians’ (or something like that – I’ve since been banned from the group). I received a nasty inbox message from the group administrator Kathryn Dare (a white woman) which said: “You are not cute or beautiful. You post on our page(s) or groups again and we will see Facebook deals with you. You and your friends go away. We are Christians who follow Christ, which you obviously are not. Leave us alone with your sex nonsense. I suggest you get down on your knees and ask the Lord God for forgiveness for your gross sins”
Now is this very Christ-like?
What would Jesus have done if a woman was openly proclaiming her sexuality? Would he have treated her in such an un-Godly way? How did he treat the woman at the well? How did he treat the prostitute?
I posted her message on my Facebook status and received loads of comments of support. However, when I invited her to view my page, she replied: “Like Hell. Post to my wall/page/group one more time and I am turning your sinful and disgusting ass into facebook. Go away demon!”
No, really, that was her ‘Christian’ reply! The root of her responses are fear and hate. Christians seem to find it hard to believe that this is the path I’ve been on since asking God for ‘the Truth’ in 2007. Everything I’ve learnt since then, I shared in the book.
The funniest thing is, I had more sex while practising being a Christian than I do now! This is because I have learnt the true nature of sexual energy and what can be achieved when it is used properly. What is marriage? Is it the ring, wearing a white dress down the aisle? The honeymoon? Or is it a Spiritual Union? Is it ‘of God’, or man-made?
Now don’t get me wrong, the couple in my story did actually end up getting married, but not before becoming unified spiritually.
If you have (or had) been indoctrinated into a religion, you should read my book!
‘Single, Spiritual…AND Sexual!’ is a beautiful Afromantic Love story of a young woman’s 11-year quest for ‘the Truth’ about sex before marriage, Universal Laws, her African ancestry, and the his-story of the religion she had been indoctrinated into!
