The Mella Centre is a new unique Afrikan Space in the heart of the West End, situated at 73 Oxford Street (Tottenham Court Road end). Oxford Street is known the world over as the No 1 spot for shopping in London. The Mella Centre has a large basement space with lots of units offering Afrikan Merchandise in a very unique Afrikan Village Market space where Trade, Entertainment, Education, Discussions, Leisure and Meeting Place will be happening in one space. I will be performing two poems from my CD ‘Seeds of Love‘ on Friday 8th November between 4.30pm-5pm with djembe drummer Siayoum, and on Saturday 5.30pm and Sunday 6pm with acoustic guitarist Theo Calliste and saxophonist Wadada!
